Enough is Enough: Keep Oriona Doherty Off TikTok.
Wicked cosplayer and self proclaimed influencer Oriona Doherty—who moonlights as Elphaba—has ruffled feathers for the very last time.
A concerned mother says her daughter was traumatised after witnessing Oriona attempting to self harm during a TikTok Live.
Meanwhile, Oriona insists she isn’t “self harm baiting” and claims that she is simply being “real” about her mental health struggles on livestream.

But if it’s not behaviour you would exhibit in front of a police officer, it shouldn’t be something you put on display for an audience either.
Many are outraged that previous reports of Oriona’s ongoing threats of suicide and self harm on livestreams have fallen by the wayside, allowing her to continue perpetuating the vicious cycle of not only harming herself, but also harming the viewers who witness this destructive behaviour—of which many are young and impressionable due to being drawn in by the cosplay element.
Due to TikTok’s ongoing reluctance to take sufficient action to keep her off the platform permanently—despite numerous account bans—Oriona openly boasts that she’ll keep breaching community guidelines by creating new accounts.

In response, the concerned mother has launched a petition titled “Remove Orion Paul Doherty from TikTok.”

If you value the safety of your child—or vulnerable and impressionable people—online, I would urge you to sign this petition. TikTok claim to prioritise the wellbeing of their users, yet that claim rings hollow when someone repeatedly banned for dangerous behaviour can so easily create new accounts and continue the cycle of abuse unchecked.
