How The Gough and Whittingham Family Exploited an Elderly Woman For Their Own Agenda|PART 2

Before we continue with what came next, let’s rewind back to the beginning.
The Mitchell family only got access to Mandy’s home in January, when Mandy was hospitalised.
In the months that followed, they moved FAST. They sought help. They got professionals in. They prioritized Mandy’s wellbeing. The mission was clear, make the home habitable for her return.
The family, the hospital, and the cleaning team agreed—living areas came first. The loft? The garden? It was acknowledged from day one as problem zones, but it wasn’t covered in the funded clearance. Everyone knew that.
Both families discovered the extent of the loft mess at the same time. But one thing was already on the record: Naomi had told the family—and VIVID Homes—that she and her family would handle it. That was a commitment.
So Naomi, let’s get real. This wasn't anyone else’s failure. This is was a you problem.
Willow, ever composed despite being fresh out of surgery, still didn’t stoop. Her response?
“I’m sorry—what am I taking accountability for? I’ve been nothing but honest. The loft wasn’t in the clearance because the funding didn’t cover it. I said all along it was full.I didn’t know what was up there or how bad it was.I asked Mandy she said when they ran out of space, rubbish went up there. The clearance team did three(it was four) truckloads from the inside—excluding the loft.”

Clear. Honest. Calm. Meanwhile, Naomi turned her own lie into a weapon and tried to use it on the one person who made this exchange remotely possible. That’s not just entitled. It’s manipulative!
Naomi didn’t just double down—she evolved into a self proclaimed rodent expert and moral authority figure, texting Willow:
“We were certainly not told it was full, Willow. That’s what the accountability is for. It’s you being decent, that’s all. Knowing just what we are doing, and none of you are having to lift a finger—”

EXCUSE. ME. Did Naomi really just suggest that she and her family were doing Mandy’s family a favour? Like this was some kind of charity mission?
Let’s get something straight:
This wasn’t kindness.
This wasn’t selflessness.
This was Naomi trying to fast track herself into a 3 bedroom house—the same 3 bedroom she’d been begging for, the same 3 bedroom her sister-in-law was pleading for because she chose to conceive multiple children in a two bed.
That’s not someone doing a good deed.
That’s someone making a calculated move for personal gain.
So let’s just kill the saviour act right here. The entitlement? Unbelievable.
But Naomi wasn’t done embarrassing herself. She kept going:
“The garden!!!!!! The rubbish in the garden is bags and bags from inside the house. Household waste—however many years’ worth. What was the name of the clearance people because it’s actually against the law to put shit in the loft. Gas bottles above the bathroom—the hottest place in the house. They are the ones that would have caused the mice infestation too because they’ve left household waste in the loft.”

So now the professional clearance company is not only irresponsible—they’re criminals? Let’s take a breath. The gas bottles? The mice? The loft waste? Mandy had been hoarding and hiding rubbish long before Willow got involved—something Willow had been honest about from the beginning.
Naomi knew the house needed work. She acknowledged it. She agreed to the conditions. And now she wants to rewrite history because suddenly it’s harder than she expected? Willow—exhausted, post surgery, and finally fed up with Naomi’s arrogance—fired back with truth:
“The cleaning people didn’t put the shit in the loft. This would’ve been done years ago when Mandy was hiding how much rubbish she had. I said from the start Mandy’s house needs a lot of work, and I can’t help anymore. I’ve only been helping Mandy since January—when she got ill, her partner died, and I was allowed in the house.”

And then Willow dropped the receipts. She sent a bunch of photos to Naomi and a video. Hard proof from January when she first stepped in to clean the chaos Mandy had been drowning in. She didn’t have to justify herself—but she did, because Naomi clearly had no grasp of the sacrifice, effort and emotional weight others had been carrying long before she showed up.
Willow spelled it out:
“This was Mandy’s house. Don’t even try to tell me I haven’t lifted a finger. This was January. If you want out, then say. But you need to understand and stop coming at me—or I’m pulling out (of the exchange). I’m on bed rest from surgery. I don’t need your shit.” and “technically I didn't have to give you permission to come into Mandy's house to get a head start before the move, when I'm well within my rights to make you wait until moving day. But I showed humanity and let you”

The AUDACITY of Naomi to then respond with this venom:
"HOW DARE YOU. I couldn't give a shit what you have done since January that is nothing to do with me nor my problem. So don't you dare start threatening me. Pull out all you like. I WON'T be threatened by you lovely. If you want to talk like adults ill come to your house as your on bed rest. I am 6 months pregnant and have lost 2 babies already so don't tell me your the one that doesn't need shit. If you think accepting a mutual exchange in that condition is acceptable no wonder your mother in laws home got to how it is. Your the ones at fault letting her live like that. It's fucking shameful. Letting us in before the move to do the things mandy and her family should have done. A house should never look like this. Give your head a fucking wobble. It's all over your Facebook you and friends "cleaned" Mandy's house and you knew everything. I wonder what other people's opinions on this whole situation would be.......so please do not spam my phone with your bullshit. I have been calm and very fair with you. We actually thought what a nice person you were. Show some empathy and accountability if your the one thats meant to be so called helping Mandy.

WOW!
Just WooooooooooooooooooW!
Let’s rip the sugar coating off and call this what it is:
A manipulative, self righteous tirade from someone who was given access, given an opportunity, and given the benefit of the doubt—only to turn on the very people who made it possible the moment things didn’t go her way!
Naomi wasn’t “helped” by the family—because by the time she entered the picture, they were already burned out from months of holding Mandy’s life together. They didn’t owe Naomi anything. What they did offer was access, fairness, and mediation. And that’s what she spat on!
Naomi didn’t just lash out. She threatened to come to Willow’s home while she was on bed rest recovering from surgery—claiming she wanted to “talk like adults.” That’s not maturity. That’s intimidation. And let’s not skip over the hypocrisy:
Naomi made a point of saying she was six months pregnant and had lost two babies—then immediately chose to insert herself into a confrontation that could only cause stress, for herself and her unborn child. So spare us the speech about “empathy!”Naomi’s behaviour isn’t just out of line—it’s disgusting.
She screams for empathy while hurling abuse at someone who could barely stand.
She demands accountability while dodging every ounce of her own.
She weaponises her pregnancy and past trauma as a shield to excuse her vile, entitled meltdown.
She came into this situation desperate for a home—she was welcomed and allowed early access not because she earned it, but because people chose to be decent. And now those same people?
She’s attacking them.
Publicly. Personally. Ruthlessly.
Naomi’s behaviour isn’t just concerning—it’s outrageous. Watching someone demand empathy and accountability while showing zero of either is a masterclass in hypocrisy.
What’s truly appalling is how she exploited a vulnerable elderly woman just to secure early access to a home—then turned vicious the moment it didn’t live up to her fantasy. She walked in all friendly, playing the role of the grateful, desperate mother—and the second reality didn’t match the picture in her head, she snapped. Or maybe that wasn’t a snap at all. Maybe that was Naomi all along. The fake warmth dropped, and the truth came out. Suddenly, the people who showed her kindness became the villains. Suddenly, Mandy’s condition—something tragic and private—became ammunition for Naomi’s self righteous rage.
She cried out for “empathy,” even as she verbally attacked Willow—who was recovering from surgery, who had done nothing but mediate, accommodate, and stay calm under pressure. And when Willow finally pushed back with a boundary? Naomi spun it into victimhood, calling it a “threat.” It wasn’t a threat. It was a line in the sand, it was saying “I’m the one doing you a favour by letting you in before anything’s even signed. I’m recovering. I need space. Stop coming at me, or I walk away—because I’m not letting you drag me into your chaos.”
But Naomi couldn’t handle that. No one tells Naomi no, apparently. No one sets boundaries with Naomi.
The moment she met resistance, she spiralled—weaponising Mandy’s situation and using it to shame the very people who let her in the door.
Let’s be clear, Naomi wasn’t clearing that house out of generosity. She did it for herself—to get a jump on securing a better home for her family. And she didn’t even do it alone. She brought friends, cars, help. Unlike the Mitchell family, who handled months of trauma and mess on their own until the cleaning company entered.
And just to twist the knife even deeper, Naomi even hinted she’d take it public—saying she wondered what “other people’s opinions” would be on the situation. Not the truth, of course. Just her own warped, self serving version of events, designed to cast her as the victim and everyone else as the villains.

Then, with breath taking arrogance, she actually blamed Willow for “letting them in early to do what Mandy’s family should have done.” As if the early access—something Naomi begged for—was some kind of trap. As if her rush to get in was anyone’s responsibility but her own.

The audacity is staggering. But now the mask is off, and everyone can see exactly who Naomi is when things don’t go her way.
Before Willow blocked Naomi, to preserve her peace whilst she was recovering from surgery. Despite Willow not responding, Naomi had more to add.

So, she felt sorry for Mandy—but not enough to stop herself from broadcasting Mandy’s private struggle all over her niece’s Facebook? That’s rich.
Then she rolls out her Mother Teresa routine: “This isn’t about us wanting the house, believe me. It’s now more than that, Mandy clearly needs—”
I don’t believe a word of it. And why should I? Why should WE? The evidence screams otherwise. It’s obvious she thought turning it all into a sob story about Mandy might tug a few heartstrings. The manipulation is transparent. The delusion? Off the charts.
Needless to say, Willow didn’t respond and Naomi was blocked. That should be the end of it right?
Wrong, that didn't stop Paris' mother, Naomi's aunt, from being sent round to Mandy's home and chapping down the door. KNOWING that Mandy was vulnerable! KNOWING she wasn't in the position to communicate with anyone except for those designated—her carer, her daughter-in-law Willow and any of her immediate family.
NOT an UNANNOUNCED STRANGER! Did Paris' mother knock the door, receive no answer and then leave accordingly? Sadly, not. She spotted that Mandy's living room window was open and stood there to communicate with her.
STOOD THERE DISRESPECTING HER RIGHT TO PRIVACY IN HER OWN HOME! STOOD THERE trying to PRESSURE Mandy into going ahead with the exchange! Telling Mandy "you have your own voice" and telling her that her daughter-in-law had been saying derogatory things about her and that she had it on her phone and could show her—if she let her in!
STILL trying to CONTROL the situation for THEIR GAIN! Trying to stir the pot, trying to get an upper hand by causing disconnection between Mandy and her family. In HOPE that Mandy would agree to the exchange.
WHY ELSE would Naomi send her aunty round? KNOWING Mandy is vulnerable. KNOWING she had to ask Willow every time before going to Mandy's previously, they didn't just TURN UP unannounced, so WHY did ANYONE think sending Paris' mummy round was a GOOD IDEA!?
Could it be cause they were hoping to HARASS and PRESSURE a vulnerable and elderly woman into agreeing with an exchange that had ALREADY been cancelled following Naomi's vile and vicious onslaught?
Willow was then contacted by Amber on the 16th of May, two days after the vile abuse she had received from Naomi. Amber said: "Hey Willow, are you free for a quick conversation on the phone?"
Willow responded: "No sorry"

Remember what Naomi said? “This move isn’t about us wanting that house, believe me” Now there’s even more evidence to prove Naomi’s word can’t be trusted!
Amber responded with damage control saying: "we need to organise dates for this move, fully aware that this has whole situation has blown up. It's come across completely wrong on both sides. Naomi was just asking for some sort of help and nothing malicious was intended on both parts I'm sure. There was no threatening. Naomi knows things come across worse via messages than speaking face to face again she is 6 months pregnant so would not dream of anything of the sort. As you can imagine she is very stressed and emotional with everything going on and the amount of stuff that needs to be done. Mandy needs this move and is entitled to it aswell. We will take full responsibility for the loft and rubbish that needs to be moved and won't even have to communicate with you guys any further if that's what you wish. We just ask that we can get rid of all the rubbish this Saturday as planned? Would appreciate it and thanks for taking your time to read my message and respond"

UGH, it could almost make you sick, right? I know I feel nauseous.
But, let's PAUSE once more. Did Amber say a single word about the kitchen or bathroom after her sister-in-law’s vile meltdown? The same areas Paris paraded online as “uninhabitable”? No. Not a mention.
Because if the house really looked the way Paris claimed, why is there STILL no talk of those rooms? When Naomi unleashed a vicious, unprovoked attack on Willow—who was recovering from surgery—Amber didn’t condemn it. She didn’t even acknowledge the abuse. Instead, she slipped into full damage control mode, offering excuses dressed up as diplomacy.
For example,“This has all blown up. It’s come across completely wrong on both sides. Naomi was just asking for help. Nothing malicious was intended. No threats were made.”
Let’s be honest: that’s not accountability. That’s a spin. Naomi didn’t “ask for help” in those messages, she had asked VIVD for help. They declined.
She verbally assaulted someone who had gone out of their way to give her access and accommodate her. She didn’t just sound “stressed”—she was hostile, accusatory, and downright cruel. And Amber’s claim that things came across wrong “over messages”?
That doesn’t fly. There was no confusion—Naomi’s words were crystal clear. There’s no misreading:
“I couldn’t give a shit what you’ve done since January.”
“Pull out all you like.”
"Letting us in before the move to do the things mandy and her family should have done. A house should never look like this"
“It’s fucking shameful.”
“Give your fucking head a wobble.”
"Your the ones at fault letting her live like that"
"I wonder what other people's opinions on this whole situation would be.......so please do not spam my phone with your bullshit"
That’s not a miscommunication. There’s no misreading that. It doesn’t “come across wrong” just because it was in a message. That’s someone unravelling because they were told “no”—told to take a step back, to understand the situation, and to stop coming at Willow, who had already gone above and beyond; and who at this stage needed her energy to heal following surgery.
Willow had explained in conversation to Naomi—clearly—that no one knew the exact state of the loft, only that it was another space that needed clearing, just like every other part of the house had.
And let’s be real:
if the former condition of the property was anything to go by, they should have expected the loft to be bad. That’s not deception. That’s common sense.
But despite Naomi insisting this wasn't an argument, she didn't acknowledge anything Willow had said to her, and jumped off the deep end into her venom filled pool.
Amber went on:
“Naomi’s six months pregnant and emotional.”
“She wouldn’t dream of anything of the sort (threatening to come round to Willow's)
Yet Naomi literally threatened to show up at Willow’s home, uninvited, while Willow was on bed rest. That isn’t “emotion”—that’s aggression. Pregnancy is not a free pass to verbally abuse people, and using it as a shield is manipulative in itself.
Then Amber tried to soften the blow with this:“We’ll take full responsibility for the loft and rubbish, and won’t contact you again if that’s what you want.”
Too little, too late. At this stage, this isn’t just about cleaning up a mess of rubbish. It’s about cleaning up a mess of character—and pretending both sides were equally at fault is not just dishonest, it’s insulting.
Amber had a chance to step up and own what happened. Instead, she tried to blur the lines, cushion the fallout, and protect Naomi from the consequences of her own words.
That’s not responsibility. That’s a cover up.
That makes Amber, as complicit as Naomi.
Willow then proceeds to send screenshots of Naomi's messages to Amber, Amber responds: "You're a mum yourself and know how bloody hard it is to fight for your child, that's all she is trying to do and have done this whole time. They just weren't expecting to find lots in the loft not in bags, as you can understand. She has been very upset last night and today, I'm fully prepared for you to communicate with only me if that makes you feel more comfortable throughout the move. As now it will just be a case of a moving date then Mandy and all of you will be free of the house and Mandy will be where she is entitled to be and there will be no more stress for any of you"

Let’s PAUSE and break this down. Amber’s message, once again, offered no real accountability, no apology on Naomi’s behalf—just another layer of excuses. She leaned on the fact that Naomi is a mother, as if that somehow excuses her abusive messages.
But here’s what stands out most:
Naomi was blocked by Willow after her vile outburst. And yet, she clearly had no problem asking Amber to reach out on her behalf to keep the door open and smooth things over.
So let’s ask the most obvious question:
If Naomi had enough awareness to get Amber to act as her go between...why didn’t she ask Amber to pass on an apology?
Not even a one line bare minimum "sorry" Because, clearly, she wasn't sorry. Clearly, she believed her messages were justified. That’s the part Amber conveniently skips. Naomi still wanted access, still wanted the move, still wanted the outcome to benefit her—but couldn’t bring herself to offer even basic respect to the person who had allowed her early entry into Mandy’s home in the first place.
Wouldn't THAT have been HUMANLY!? Wouldn't that have been DECENT! Wouldn't that have been ACCOUNTABILITY!?Amber offered to handle communication going forward—and fine, that’s a logical step. But it comes wrapped in the same false narrative, that this whole situation was just some emotional misunderstanding, just stress, just words taken the wrong way.
Let’s be clear, this wasn’t miscommunication.
It wasn’t stress talking.
It was a calculated, ego driven attack that Naomi never once tried to make right!
And Amber defending that instead of calling it out? That’s not being “understanding.” That’s being complicit--AGAIN!
To be continued . . . . . .
“Whittingham” and “Gough” only refers to the named individuals.
