Keith Mason: Caught in a LIE in his OWN apology towards Muslims.

Keith Mason: Caught in a LIE in his OWN apology towards Muslims.

It’s with profound dismay that I find myself highlighting Keith Mason yet again. In a society striving for equality and respect, it’s disheartening that individuals like Keith continue to surface with their divisive rhetoric.

It was brought to my attention that Keith commented on a “Rise of the Celts” video posted by Tommy Robinson -many of you probably already know where this is leading, just by the name.- The video, which depicts the Irish expressing outrage and protesting against Muslim asylum seekers being placed near a school, garnered Keith Mason’s support with his comment, “Never surrender.”

This kind of rhetoric after his genuine and sincere apology towards the Muslim community he offended, is not just disappointing; it’s deeply troubling!

Let me be unequivocally clear: there is NO place for racism or Islamophobia in our society! These ideologies are toxic to the values of inclusion, respect, and unity that we should all strive to uphold. Highlighting Keith once more only further underscores the persistent undercurrents of hatred that we must collectively address and overcome!

To add a layer of irony to this situation, consider that this is the same Keith Mason who could have become an MP for Wakefield and Rothwell. Yep, you read that correctly. After all, 5PillarsUK editor Roshan Salih saw fit to publicly ask for Keith’s reinstatement. Imagine having such a figure representing a diverse and multicultural constituency!?

And let’s not forget Keith’s heartfelt, or rather, heartless apology in his interview with 5Pillars, where he earnestly declared, “I’m not an Islamophobe,” “I have Muslims in my family,” and “I grew up around Muslims; I see them as my brothers and sisters.” How touching. Yet, here he is, after that very interview, backing anti-Muslim sentiments online again. After this indeed proven false apology, how can we take anything he says seriously?

In conclusion, whilst it’s exasperating to have to call out Mason yet again, it remains a necessary act. We must persist in exposing and rejecting such harmful ideologies, advocating instead for a society where everyone, regardless of race or religion, can coexist peacefully and with mutual respect.
